Quality
Counts
Too
often, and too late, many jewelry
customers discover that not all jewelry is really what it appears
to be. Here's what you should know about our products:
All
jewelry items that we manufacture are made using only the very
finest materials. This means that our gold items are made
of virgin
plumb
gold. This means that the exact percentage of pure gold
for the Karat. By example, 18K should be 18/24th (75%) pure
gold and not less. 14K gold items should be made of 14/24ths
(.583%) pure gold and not less. All the gold that we use is
of the proper purity; it is all plumb gold. We use
plumb gold exclusively, and every item that we make originally
starts out as an expertly hand carved wax
model.
Recycled
gold is less costly and the color fluctuates. Some other
jewelry manufacturers use recycled scrap gold but do not admit to.
Fine
plumb
gold and Sterling Silver are all
that we use, even when an item has different overlays each separate
overlay is made of the pure virgin precious metal. No junk
allowed.
No
Mass Production
Everything
we make is individually hand crafted, much as they were made many
years ago. No assembly line. No stamping by heavy machinery
(the way coins are made). A highly talented artist hand carves
the original design in wax. A casting and mold specialist then
creates the molds and the casting. The casting then passes on
to a very expert and experienced finishing specialist. Experienced
experts do all of the finishing work on every piece that we build.
Our jewelers are artists. We build only one piece at at time,
start to finish. Each step in the process is performed by people
who are true masters at their crafts.
Our
Photographs
Despite
the beauty of our photographs they do not do justice to the actual
beauty of our jewelry. This is true with regard to color, contrast
and depth. It is virtually impossible to render exact pictures
on web pages so that they will show up accurately on the monitors
of our visitors. This is true for all images displayed on the
web. The future may be different when technology improves, but
for now photographic rendition is not what we would all like it to
be. The "real thing" is far more beautiful than can
be portrayed on our pages.
